A glabrous, dextrose climber with smooth terete stems attaining a length up to 7m. Roots tuberous; leaves broad-ovate to orbicular or peltate; both male and female flowers yellowish or yellowish green, in axillary compound umbels; drupes pisiform, becoming red on ripening.
