Description |

This is an annual suberect or decumbent ascending hairy herb. Leaves are trifoliolate and stipellate. The flowers are small and yellow and are borne in dense racemes. Bracts are lanceolate and bracteoles linear and small. The pods are erect, hairy and long with 10 to 15 seeds. The seeds are black or brown dotted with black. |

Gastric catarrh, dysentery, diarrhoea, cystitis, paralysis, piles, rheumatism and affections of the liver and of nervous system in the form of a decoction. Externally, a poultice of the seeds is applied in gastritis, dysentery and rheumatism. |
