Description |

Perrenial hairy plant with a four-angled hollow stem; the leaves are 2-5 cm long with a densely crinkled surface, and downy-hairy; flowers have a divided calyx with hooks and the corolla is white (two stamens in back of flower are shorter); fruits are nutlets. |

Used for asthma, coughs, colds, bronchitis, sore throats, skin irritations; arrhythmia, associated with anxiety (with Hawthorn leaves) and as a sedative (with Lavender and Balm). |
Contraindication |

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Animal studies suggest that white horehound may cause miscarriage. |
