Description |

Chalmogra is a tall evergree tree with whitish wood. Bark is brown, somewhat rough ; leaves are oblong, ovate or elliptic, 4-10 inches long, more or less serrate; flowers are small, greenish white, solitary or in fascicles ; fruits are globose, 2-4 inches diameter, tomentose, mammilate ; seeds are 15-20, 0.8-1.0 inches long (wt., 1.0-1.4 gm. each), subovoid, obtusely angular, striate. |
