A perennial herb, stem erect leafy, stout and hollow. Leaves oblong lanceolate, base sheathing. Inflorescence spike. Flowers purple, bracts green, narrowly lanceolate, lover longer than the flowers, upper slightly shorter. Roots tuberous, divided into 2 or 3 lobes. |
