Description |

A rhizomatous, herbaceous, perennial plant up to 23 cm in height. Rootstock horizontal producing upright parts called crown or pips. Leaves oblong or lanceolate, radical; flowers white, fragrant, belt-shaped in 30-35 cm long spikes; berries red, few-seeded. |
