Description |

Tomentose erect shrub with numerous branches standing from 120 cm to 3 m high. Trunk stout, stems irregularly indented, bark grey, rather corky; leaves oblong-elliptic 10 to 20 cm by 3.8 to 5.0 cm, flowers small, numerous, white, red or pale chocolate, in crowded spikes; fruits 1.2 cm, nuts, usually one, hairy. |
