A tree that grows up to 35m high and 20cm in diameter. Leaves are simple, decussate, stipulate, and gathered at the apex of stems. Petiole is 1.5–2.5cm long. Blade is obovate to spathulate, 2.8cm × 1.2cm – 7.5cm × 4.2cm – 6.2cm × 3.2cm. Inflorescences consist of clusters of 2–10 flowers.
