Description |

A moderate-sized, evergreen tree, up to 15 m in height and 90 cm in girth, with a bole up to 4.5 m. Bark dark brown or grey, somewhat rough with shallow fissures, sometimes corky; leaves ovate to narrow-oblong, 15-20 cm long, acute; flowers lavender or pale purple, in axillary cymes; drupes purple-black. |
