The leaves in the form of paste are used in skin infections like eczema and also applied to the finger and toe nails during fever when the extremities are cold. The juice of the leaves is given in cold, catarrh and bronchitis in children. A decoction of the plant is used for cough and of leaves for dysentery and also as mouth wash for relieving toothache. |
