Description |

An erect herb, attaining a height of 2.7 m after the second year's growth. Roots fusiform, 4-18 mm thick near the crown; leaves ovate-cordate, sinuate, hairy or glabrate beneath; flowers in glabrous or cottony, sub-corymbose heads; achenes angled, ribbed, grey, mottled with black. |
