An ascending, stout annual or biennial herb (weed), up to 2 m in height. Leaves unifoliolate: leaflets sub-cordate, mucronate, stipules scarious, 1-2 cm long, lanceolate, very acute; flowers yellow or brownish yellow in long spicate racemes; pods shortly stalked, downy, moniliform. |
