A deciduous perennial that grows to 1.0 meters (3.3 feet) high by 0.5 meters (1.65 feet) wide. This plant has hermaphrodite flowers and is hardy to zone 6 and is pollinated by bees.
Relieves pain due to arthritis and gout. Useful in treating Lung disorders, leprosy etc. Poisoning, Anti-inflammatory and febrifuge, it is used in the treatment of snake and scorpion bites, contagious infections and inflammation of the intestines (Tsarong & Tsewang, 1994).
