Description

A glabrous, erect, ribbed, somewhat foetid herb, growing to a height of 15-45 cm. Leaves rhomboid or ovate-deltoid, 2-10 cm x 1-6 cm; flowers clustered, in lax or dense cymes, in axillary racemes or panicles, the terminal panicle being leafless; utricles with depressed-globose, dull black, seeds.
