A rigid, sweetly aromatic herb, sometimes attaining a height of 7 ft. Leaves broadly ovate, very variable, 2.5-11 cm. long, sinuate-denticulate, tomentose ; flowers small, blue, in unilateral axillary or terminal clusters often arranged in panicles ; nutlets blackish brown, ovoid, compressed. |
