An evergreen shrub growing upto 6m; with fine foliage, deeply toothed; of a deep green, mottled with dark purple on the upper side and silvery-white beneath. The leaves are nearly a foot in length and 8 inches in breadth. Flowers are found on much branched panicles with each floret being about 5mm in diameter X 12mm long.
