A perennial herb. Stems drag on the ground to set up a flower stalk. The leaves are 2 to 3 times 3 compound leaf, the foliage is two cognizance of normal. Bract (flower stalk at the base of the leaves) is cleaved. Flowers are purple and blue-purple color, 1 to 2 cm in length. The underground tuber is round, analgesic herbs.
