General Info
Description
A small tree or shrub with a short life span. Leaves 15 to 20" alternate, bipinnately, compound. Flowers are small occurring in bundles, yellowish white flowers with pink showy stamens on long stalk.

Medicinal Use
Used for treating depression, restlessness due to deficiency, poor memory, and insomnia, it is used alone or with other herbs such as Semen Platycladi (Bai
Zi Ren). It is also used externally in treating fracture and carbuncles.
