Leaves ovate to orbicular, normally entire, 5—14 cm x 3—10 cm, base cordate to truncate, apex acuminate, mucronulate, lateral veins 5—6, petiole 2.5—8(—12) cm long. Flowers solitary or in few-flowered cymes, peduncle short, 2—10(—15) mm long; pedicel 7—15 mm long, in fruit up to 20 mm long, clavate, recurved in bud, erect at flowering, and recurved in fruit, sepals subequal, broadly elliptical or orbicular, 12—18 mm long, corolla salver-shaped, 14—17 cm long, tube long and narrow, white, greenish outside, fragrant, stamens and style exserted, filaments hairy at base, ovary glabrous. Capsule ovoid, 15 mm long, mucronate, enclosed by the sepals, valves 4, lacerate or not. Seeds 4, 6—8 mm long, densely grey-woolly. |
