A shrub or woody climber, evergreen, up to 10 m tall. Leaves about 7 cm long having metallic silvery undersides. Flowers trumpet-shaped, strongly scented, yellow. Fruit an ellipsoid drupe, up to 4 cm x 2 cm, red.
