An evergreen shrub growing to 0.6m by 1m. Foliage silvery-white, silvery-gray, or gray-green, attributable to the extreme woolly-pubescence of the thick leaves, having a clustered, alternate, or spiraled arrangement along the stem. The faded-yellow or cream small inflorescences are borne in terminal clusters, are sparse to non-existent, and are ornamentally insignificant, and should be live-headed so as not to detract from the ornamental silver foliage.
