Description |

A tree that reaches up to 13 m in height. Bark is gray brown, developing shallow fissures with scaly tops. Leaves are simple and alternate. Flowers are beige or yellow, with red interiors. Fruits are ovoid pseudocarps, up to 12.5 cm x 8 cm, yellow to orange, faintly reticulated. |
