Description |

A common ornamental plant that grows to a height of 3m; crown is spreading, bole is thorny, bark is smooth, inner bark is whitish, and wood is white. Leaves alternate, elliptic to obovate, 3—8 cm x 1—4 cm, base acute, margins slightly crenulate, apex retuse, slightly notched or acute, glossy dark green above, pale green below, aromatic when crushed. Petiole is 1.5–1.7cm long. Inflorescences axillary, 1—3-flowered with white, fragrant, 2 cm wide flowers. Fruits are yellow to orange, sour, and measure 2cm × 3.5cm. |
