An ascending or decumbent, glabrous or hispidly hairy perennial herb, 25-50 cm. high, with a creeping rootstock. Leaves ovate-cordate, crenate or serrate; flower white or pale pink, in axillary whorls; nutlets 4 mm. long, smooth, black or dark brown. |
