Health Remedies - Asthma |
|
|
Asthma is a chronic disease that affects the airways. It is also called as bronchial asthma. In this condition, the inside walls of the airways become sore and swollen. Asthma signs and symptoms can range from mild to severe. Common symptoms of asthma include Coughing (especially at night), wheezing, shortness of breath and tightness, pain, or pressure in chest. The important trigger factors for asthma are indoor allergens (for example house dust mites in bedding, carpets and stuffed furniture, pollution and pet dander), outdoor allergens (such as pollens and moulds), tobacco smoke and chemical irritants. Other causes include cold air, extreme emotional arousal such as anger or fear, physical exercise and certain medications. It is important to avoid asthma triggers - stimuli that irritate and inflame the airways, while treating asthma. |
