Health Remedies - Eye Itching |
|
|
Eye itching or burning is a common problem occurring due to eye allergy. Ocular allergy may occur due to many allergens in the environment. Airborne allergens such as pollen, mold, dust and pet dander may cause eye allergy. Other causes of allergies, such as certain foods or bee stings, do not typically affect the eyes the way airborne allergens do. Adverse reactions to certain cosmetics or drugs such as antibiotic eyedrops also may cause eye allergies. Itcy eyes may be accompanied by many other allergic symptoms such as redness, swelling, or tearing of eyes; runny nose; sneezing; coughing; difficulty breathing; itchy nose, mouth or throat; and headache from sinus congestion. |
