Chlorosis is the greenish tinge of the skin found in patients with anemia. Chlorosis is derived from the Greek word "Khloros" meaning greenish-yellow or pale green. It is commonly associated with iron deficiency anemia and usually occurs in conjunction with other symptoms such as lack of energy, shortness of breath, dyspepsia, headaches, capricious or scanty appetite etc. |
