Dyspepsia is characterized by painful or disturbed digestion, which may be accompanied by symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, heartburn, abdominal bloating, and stomach discomfort. When these symptoms are associated with nervousness, tension, or anxiety, it is called nervous dyspepsia. Periodic headaches are also common due to anxiety in patients with nervous dyspepsia.
For treating problems connected with the respiratory system, convulsions, low spirits and the menopause, in the treatment of nervous dyspepsia, travelling sickness, morning sickness in pregnancy, arthritis, gout, scanty menstrual flow and bronchitis.
