A large evergreen shrub or small tree. Bark grey with brown coarse strands, corky, dull white inside; leaves ovate or elliptic-lanceolate, coriaceous, glossy; flowers in panicles, creamy white, fragrant; fruit blue black when ripe, oblong, 1.25 cm. long. |
