Description

A glabrous perennial, 30-90 cm. high, with creeping rhizomes. Leaves smooth or nearly so, sessile, lanceolate to ovate, acute, coarsely dentate, smooth above, glandular below; flowers lilac, in losse, cylindrical, slender, interrupted spikes.
