Description |

A slightly woody shrub. Leaves elliptic, three at a node, sometimes opposite, base cuneate, margins serrate, apex acuminate, petiole stout. Panicles terminal; bracts lanceolate. Flowers blue; calyx cupular, subtruncate; corolla blue, limb 2 lipped, lobes 5, unequal. Stamen 4. Ovary globose. Fruit 4-lobed, drupe, purple, succulent. |
