Emetic and laxative (root); insecticidal (stem, flower and leaf); toxic (fruit oil); against Ehrlich's ascites tumors, nerve sedative.

Adonis vernalis

Sedative, diuretic, poisonous, cardiotonic and vasoconstrictor.

Aesculus assamica

Abortifacient (root); alleviates spasms (seed and EtOH aerial part extract); diuretic and on respiration (EtOH aerial part extract); toxic to fish (bark).

Ailanthus excelsa

Casearia elliptica

Laxative, diuretic (fruit pulp); antiviral (aerial part); alleviates spasms and stimulates the cardiovascular system; toxic (to fish) (fruit juice); anthelmintic eaf paste)

Ceratotheca sesamoides

Emollient and lubricant (mucilage of leaves); aphrodisiac (plant); antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive, cytotoxic, antitumour and insecticidal (seed oil)

Cicuta maculata

Cardiotoxic, contraceptive, convulsant, curare, emetic and narcotic (root)

Cochlospermum tinctorium

Antimalarial, antihepatotoxic and tonic (rootstock)
