Health Remedies - Strongyloidiasis (threadworm Infection)

Product Categories

Strongyloidiasis is a human parasitic disease caused by the nematode (roundworm) Strongyloides stercoralis. People catch the infection when they come in contact with soil contaminated with S. stercoralis filariform larvae. The filariform larvae penetrate the human skin, usually at the feet, and then migrate by way of the lymphatic system to the blood-stream and the lungs. Symptoms that may occur include red hive-like areas near the anus, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, unintentional weight loss etc. In later stage, a typical serpiginous rash (follows a snake-like track) can appear and disappear, usually around the trunk, in a few hours or days. It is known as larva currens rash. Strongyloidiasis is diagnosed by stool analysis and can be treated with anti-worm medications.
