Aegle marmelos

In ophthalmia and jaundice (leaf); in constipation, cholera, dysentery, diarrhea and intestinal ulcers (fruit); leucoderma, to alleviate asthma (leaf decoction); in diabetes (root bark); in scurvy (fruit pulp).

Apium graveolens

To treat diarrhoea, dysentery, hoarseness of voice, gravels, indigestion and loss of appetite, and impurity of breast-milk caused, bronchitis (seed decoction); rheumatism (fruit); as a very potent aphrodisiac (seed); arthritis, bruises, dropsy, dysmenorrhea, gout, hoarseness, indigestion, depression, nervous affections resulting from the degeneration of sheathing, scurvy and sores.

Bellis perennis

In the treatment of catarrh, rheumatism, arthritis, liver and kidney disorders, as a blood purifier etc (herb); to wounds, bruises, for mouth ulcers (leaves); for the treatment of scorbutic complaints and eczema (root)

Brassica campestris

For cancer (seed, stem and leaves); breast cancer, scurvy (root).

Carissa congesta

Bile problems (unripe fruit); remittent fever, diarrhea, oral inflammation and earache (leaf decoction); as antiscorbutic and remedy for biliousness (ripe fruit); for itches and to lower blood pressure (roots).

Citrus limon

Cleome gynandra

Dictamnus albus

For stomach problems, colic, dandruff and scurvy (bark)

Fumaria officinalis

In the treatment of all visceral obstructions, particularly those of the liver, arthritis, gallstones, in scorbutic affections, urticaria, jaundice and in troublesome eruptive diseases of the skin, especially eczema and scabies.

Lepidium sativum

The plant is administered in cases of asthma, cough with expectoration and bleeding piles; syphilis, tenesmus (root). The leaves are antiscorbutic, diuretic and stimulant. The seeds are galactogogue. It used to procure an abortion, applied as a poultice to pains and hurts and also used as an aperient.

Mangifera indica

In rheumatism, diphtheria and diarrhea (bark and flower); diabetes, scalds and burns (leaf); for severe bleeding, catarrh, hemoptysis, external ulcers, toothache and for preventing plaques of the teeth; in cases of diarrhea, chronic dysentery, catarrh of the bladder and chronic urethritis resulting from gonorrhea (dried mango flowers); on cracks in the feet and on scabies, and is used to treat syphilis (resinous gum from the trunk); as vermifuges and as astringents in diarrhea, hemorrhages and bleeding hemorrhoids (kernel decoction and powder); for diarrhea, fever, chest complaints, diabetes, hypertension etc (leaf decoction); scurvy and sthomachache (fruit)

Menyanthes trifoliata

For digestive disorders due to indigestion, flatulence and constipation, in rheumatism, gout, dropsy, scurvy and skin affections; it is also used as a substitute for tea (plant)

Nasturtium officinale

Anemia, asthma, bronchitis, cancer, catarrh, cough, depurative, earache, eczema, flu, head colds, kidney ailments, liver ailments, pertussis, piles, scabies, scurvy, sore, tuberculosis, warts, in strangury, goiter, very useful treatment for dietary deficiencies and malnutrition.

Oxalis corniculata

Indigestion, anemia, swelling of the tympanum and hemorrhoids (fresh plant juice); dysentery and diarrhea (leaf and root); skin and eye disorders (such as warts and opacity of the cornea) and scurvy (plant); insomnia, jaundice and fever.

Polypodium vulgare

For melancholia and also for rheumatic swelling of the joints (fresh roots); in jaundice, dropsy and scurvy, and combined with mallows removes hardness of the spleen, stitches in the side and colic. In the treatment of pleurisy, hives, sore throats and stomach aches and as a mild laxative for children (tea from roots).

Portulaca oleracea

For maladies of the ear, spleen, kidney and liver, anitgonorrheic and purifying blood (plant); burns, diabetes, diarrhea, dysentery, indigestion, hypotension, insomnia, ophthalmia, heart palpitations, scurvy, skin ailments (plant); in preventing heart attacks and strengthening the immune system, applied to burns (leaves); in the treatment of strangury, coughs, sores etc and are particularly effective in the treatment of skin diseases and insect stings (plant juice); to earaches, to alleviate insect stings (leaf juice); in dyspepsia, worm troubles and opacities of the cornea (seed).

Rhinacanthus nasuta

For skin diseases and as an antiseptic (root and leaf). Used to treat obesity, helminthiasis, septic ulcers, leprosy, eczema, ringworm, prickly heat, herpes, scurvy, inflammation and cancer, goitre.

Rosa canina

In the treatment of colds, influenza, minor infectious diseases, scurvy, diarrhoea and gastritis (hips)

Siegesbeckia orientalis

In skin maladies (such as ringworm and sores), urethral diseases (urethritis), as an antiseptic and cardiotonic; to cure ringworm and other parasitic infections, in rheumatism and renal colic (plant); used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, pains and aches in the legs and sides, hypertension, sciatica, weeping dermatitis, scurvy, scrofula, syphilis and mastitis (decoction of the plant).

Tropaeolum majus

For infections of the upper respiratory tracts, for sores, genito-urinary diseases, scurvy and poor skin and hair conditions (plant); Externally used is used in the treatment of baldness, minor injuries and skin eruptions.
