Health Remedies - Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Product Categories

Abnormal uterine bleeding is one of the most common gynecologic problems. Some abnormal uterine bleeding is a result of illness that affects the whole body, such as thyroid disease, liver disease, or problems with blood clotting. Other common causes of abnormal uterine bleeding include problems of the reproductive organs, such as pregnancy, cancer, fibroids, ovarian cysts, use of birth control devices, hormone replacement therapy etc. When a specific problem cannot be diagnosed, the term dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB), or anovulatory bleeding, is used.

The other symptoms associated with uterine bleeding may be spotting, irregular or absent menstruation, anemia etc. Obesity, hypertension, diabetes, Polycystic ovaries and late menopause are all associated with an increased risk of uterine disorders, and therefore abnormal uterine bleeding.
