Blumea balsamifera

Diarrhea, cholera and body swellings due to beri-beri and rheumatism (leaf); angina, chest troubles, headache, dropsy and hypertension and as a tranquilizer (leaf extract).

Celastrus paniculatus

In rheumatism, treats scabies, pains and wounds, intestinal ulcers, tuberculosis, epilepsy, stomach disorders, psychosis, oedema, disorder of nervous system, leprosy (seed oil); in gout, external wounds, beriberi and as a sedative in anxiety and other nervous problems, intestinal diseases, wound, drowsiness in fever and amenorrhoea, sharpens the memory, cures sores, ulcers, rheumatism and gout; to treat pneumonia (crushed root).

Convolvulus microphyllus

As a psychological stimulant, improving memory and as a tranquilizer (plant).It is reported to reduce mental tension.

Hyoscyamus niger

Rheumatism (plant); diabetes and as an analgesic specifically used for pain affecting the urinary tract, especially when due to kidney stones(leaf); dilating the pupil of the eye (plant juice); alleviating spasms (including in the urinary tract), in treating Parkinson's disease, anxiety disorders, asthma, whooping cough, motion sickness, Meniere's syndrome and for inducing sleep. Externally, it is used as an oil to relieve painful conditions such as neuralgia, dental and rheumatic pains. Hyoscyamus has anodyne, narcotic, sedative and mydriatic properties.

Lactuca sativa

For painful ulcers and burns (plant). Excellent remedy for acid indigestion and "heartburn." Insomnia, anxiety, neuroses, hyperactivity in children, dry coughs, whooping cough, rheumatic pain etc.

Lavandula angustifolia

For mental problems associated with menopause, disorders associated with muscle tone of the autonomic nervous system, anxiety, digestive disorders, rheumatism and sciatica.

Majorana hortensis

In colic (seed and leaf); bronchial complaints, tension headaches, insomnia, anxiety, minor digestive upsets, painful menstruation, in asthma, hysteria and paralysis (plant); an external application for sprains, bruises, stiff and paralytic limbs and toothache, and for hot fomentation in acute diarrhoea (oil)

Marrubium vulgare

Used for asthma, coughs, colds, bronchitis, sore throats, skin irritations; arrhythmia, associated with anxiety (with Hawthorn leaves) and as a sedative (with Lavender and Balm).

Nepeta hindostana

Sore throat (decoction), reducing fever, antigonorrheic, syncope, anxiety and a cardiotonic for several heart problems, such as Angina pectoris (plant).

Nymphaea alba

In dysentery and irritable bowel syndrome, as an astringent and a narcotic (rhizome); for gastrointestinal disorders and jaundice; to treat bronchial catarrh and kidney pain and can be taken as a gargle for sore throats (root decoction); in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety (flower).

Passiflora alata

In atrophy of various parts, anxiety, opiate withdrawal and insomnia (leaf extract).

Strophanthus sarmentosus

Used to treat anxiety, atherosclerosis, arthrosis, constipation, diarrhea, fracture, high Blood Pressure, leprosy, rheumatism, scabies, poisonous bites and sores.

Valeriana jatamansi

Substitute for Valeriana dubia, also in eye, spleen and blood diseases, in fever (as a stimulant) and as an expectorant (root), anxiety and emotional disorders such as hysteria, painful menstruation and cramps, hypertension, irritable bowel syndrome etc. It encourages sleep, improve sleep quality and reduce blood pressure. Externally, it is used to treat eczema, ulcers and minor injuries.

Viscum album

In hypertension (without any reported side effects), ear maladies especially in earache-tearing pains in the ears, and otitis, bleeding in the uterus, as a sedative and emetic (aerial part and leaf); for spleen enlargement and tumors, to lower blood pressure, heart rate, ease anxiety and promote sleep, also relieve panic attacks and headaches, and improves the ability to concentrate (plant); as a cardiotonic (fruit, leaf, wood and bark).
