Health Remedies - Thrombosis-embolism

Product Categories

Thrombosis is an occlusion of the blood vessel by blood clots (thrombus) obstructing the flow of blood through the circulatory system. An embolus is a thrombus or any other particle that moves through the bloodstream until it lodges in a narrowed vessel and blocks circulation. Embolism can also be caused from other types of tissue, such as tumor or fat, and gas (e.g., an air bubble). Embolism from thrombus formation is known as thromboembolism. This is the most commonest form of embolus.

There are two distinct forms of thrombosis are arterial and venous thrombosis. An arterial thrombosis may lead to conditions such as stroke, myocardial infarction, thoracic outlet syndrome etc. Venous thrombosis also has further complications such as deep venous thrombosis, thoracic outlet syndrome etc.
